Thanks for your time, i hope I wasn't a bother.
Medieval is the Period times, pre-seventeenth century and anything that actually happened in History...
Lord of the Rings and World of Warcraft is what is called Fantasy; the characters and creatures are all Fantasy, I,E: they never existed and probably never will, the most common type of fantasy can be seen as Dungeons & Dragons.
The purpose of my competition is to focus on fantasy/Medieval, characters who could've existed in say; the Dark Ages or to focus more on someone like a Cleric; a warrior who may look similar to a Medieval Character but wields magic power... which is fantasy... The point being that the two are quite common IE; they both use mundane weaponry as in Bows, swords, shields and the like except that fantasy has the addition of mythical creatures and the most common element of magic.

Sounds great, can't wait to see
Inspired from Dark Ages and Mideval periods.
I'm assuming I can then add non-human elements to my characters?

Does that clear things up?
I'm assuming by Mideval, you're implying something from Lord of the Rings or World of Warcraft.
What did ya wanna talk about?
